UK Military Schmidt & Bender PMII Sun Shade

These are the un-issued and upgraded sun shades for the Schmidt & Bender L17A1 3-12x50 Telescope as used by U.K. MoD. Forming part of the “mid life upgrade” programme these shades were issued along with an Anti Reflection Device as part of the CES for the L96A1 and L115A2 (.338). Sniper Solutions was chosen by the MoD as the supplier for these replacements items in 2020. 

These were superseded by the Sniper Hider that formed part of the CES for the L115A4.  However remain is place to support the ongoing L115A3 service life.

Built in aircraft grade flat matt anodised aluminium.
